City Backpacker - Hotel/Hostel Biber is located in the pedestrian area right in the heart of the beautiful and lively old part of town.
The most important sights and places are in walking distance such as churches, museums, the lake, and of course the famous shopping street Bahnhofstrasse.
Nightlife, Music and Entertainment are all as well just around the corner!
The hostel offers cheap and comfortable dormitory beds (maximum 6 beds per room) and some private
single/twin/triple/quad-rooms. Toilets and showers on each floor.
We have free self catering kitchens, FREE tea, coffee- and softdrink-vending machines and a small
kiosk/shop at reception.
Further services include lockers in the dormitories, guest internet station, laundry facilities, luggage storage, discounts on swiss army knives, souvenirs.
Creditcards (Visa and Mastercard) accepted as well as Euros and US-dollars.
Reception hours: 08:00-12:00 and 15:00-22:00.
We have no curfew and no membership is required!

minik from Vietnam stayed here on 30th August 2010 There is no lift at this hostel, thus you have to climb up too much, very exhausting with big luggage! The price is ok for Zurich. Bars and clubs around, good to spend your night, though in general, Zurich is quite boring and expensive as well. |

The price was not advertised as that, but once they had added up additional costs that were not foretold of, it added up to 50 a night. The building is large and empty and has no atmosphere. The bed was comfortable but its near the night-life and can be a bit noisy.

The showers were a little awkward too because there was not much room to move outside the shower nor was there anywhere to hang anything up to avoid it getting wet. Overall a decent experience. You have to walk up five flights of stairs just to get to the reception then to get to your room you have to walk up another 3 flights of stairs and there is no lift. They didnt even have a fan in the room and it was so hot. The place couldnt of been anymore boring ethier | Male
